Matching refugees to sponsors 

Winchester City of Sanctuary are not going to be involved in matching sponsors to hosts but we are aware of the following avenues for matching refugees to sponsors.

If you have registered with the UK Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme and are waiting for a match you may wish to consider the following: 

RESET, a charity organisation with experience of supporting refugees has launched a new website to register and match sponsors in the UK with people from Ukraine, you can find more information here

The Ukrainian Institute London have further information about matching services, see here 

The Scottish Government will be acting as a ‘super sponsor‘  for people from Ukraine who are looking for a host in Scotland. To apply via the Homes for Ukraine scheme, click here and select SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT as the sponsor. We will update about details of this route as they become clearer.
