Winchester City of Sanctuary are part of the local Citizen’s Advice Winchester District Advice First Aid partnership which aims to support some of the most vulnerable people in our community by training frontline workers to deliver basic advice ‘first aid’ to their beneficiaries.

We have been trained by Citizen’s Advice Winchester District to triage for advice, deliver initial guidance and refer into Citizens Advice Winchester District, when needed.

If you are a refugee, asylum seeker or someone in need of sanctuary and you are not sure where to turn to for advice locally, please contact us and we will advise, where possible, and if we cannot help we will refer you on to Citizen’s Advice Winchester District Advice First Aid partnership. If you are supporting someone that is seeking sanctuary we will need their direct consent and some personal details from them to be referred into the First Aid partnership so you cannot refer on their behalf.
