The United Church on Jewry Street (next to Wetherspoons) will be open on Saturday mornings, between 10 – 12, to offer refreshments and a meeting space for refugees to have some time out and connect with others. There will be toys available to keep small children entertained if needed. Free to attend.

Winchester Baptist Church have two groups which run routinely and which they describe as very welcoming and accessible spaces with a dedicated team of helpers. Ukrainian guests and others are very welcome.Free to attend.
They hold a Parent & Toddler group on a Friday morning between 10.30 and 12.00 and a Winchester Wellbeing lunch club for the over 55s on Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am and 1pm
Hope Church in Winchester run All Nations Cafe where you can meet people from all over the world living locally.
The cafe is open on Monday evenings from 7.30 -9pm. Free to attend.

Ukraine Connections is a brand new group that is starting across some libraries in Hampshire, week commencing Monday 25th April 2022. It is an opportunity to meet others for a friendly chat and a drink, and find out about library services. Free to attend.
The Arc is home to Winchester Library and will be holding Ukraine Connections every Saturday from 10am – 1pm. All welcome. Free to attend.
The Arc also runs RhymeTime @ Winchester Library, The Arc every Thursday at 10am where you can join in with our lively songs & rhymes session in the Performance Hall. Suitable for under 5s & their parent/carers. Free to attend.
And, Saturday Storytime at Winchester Library, The Arc, Stories and rhymes for pre-school aged children, 11am to 11.40am. Free to attend.

St Paul’s Church (on St Paul’s Hill near the railway station) runs a toddler & carer group every Friday morning from 9.30 to 11 in the parish rooms and on the meadow behind St Paul’s.
