Winchester City of Sanctuary would love Winchester cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and pubs to get behind this very simple initiative which is asking people to cook a Ukrainian recipe (ideally add one to their menu/food on offer like a salad, a pastry, dumpling, bread, a cake etc) donating proceeds to UNICEF’s UK’s Ukraine appeal, supporting children and families.

Organisations have to sign up by contacting cookforukraine@gmail.com for details about how to get set up. They want people to get cooking and share pictures and recipes on social media by adding the #CookForUkraine hashtag.

You can visit OpenHouseDeli, CabinetRooms, The King Alfred pub, St James Tavern, Forte Kitchen, The Yard and others are all taking part.
