Compassion in Education: University of Winchester’s Sanctuary Network

This inaugural conference of the University of Winchester’s Sanctuary Network brings together learners and educators in workshops to consider ways to welcome people seeking sanctuary. With speakers from Schools of Sanctuary, the International Rescue Committee and Refugee Education UK, there will be a chance for educators to consider the policies and practices in their settings.Each educational setting is allocated eight places for learners who are invited to attend workshops and to reflect on the lived experiences of seeking sanctuary.

Time: 9.30 – 2.30pm

Booking required: Yes. Please register for a place for each member of staff at your educational setting. Someone will contact you a week prior to the event to confirm which eight learners will be accompanying you. Book via Eventbrite here
