Might you school be interested in becoming a School of Sanctuary?

Drawing on the central values of the Schools of Sanctuary framework, we are organising an information sharing session online for Hampshire Schools, in an online workshop from 4-5pm on 26.04.2022 about teaching children who are refugees or asylum seekers.

Dan Steel, Chair of Southampton Schools of Sanctuary, will be talking about what it means to be a School of Sanctuary and Vickie Jones, Newlands Primary, will explain the assessment process. Joining them will be Beth Flint, Winchester City of Sanctuary and Dr Wayne Veck and Julie Wharton from the Forced Migration Network, University of Winchester.
